ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENTThe EMS scope of Toppan Printing Company America, Inc. includes all activities occurring on a 15 acre tract of land containing a manufacturing facility located at 1100 Randolph Road, Somerset, NJ 08873. The activities include the manufacturing of printed material based on customer specifications, auxiliary processes (ink mixing by Toyo), and the warehousing of customer material. It is our commitment to comply with applicable legal and other requirements to which the organization subscribes which relate to the identified environmental aspects. We will utilize our Environmental Management System (EMS) to set measurable objectives and targets for ourselves to continually improve our environmental performance. We will endeavor to prevent the release of any pollution that has a negative impact on the environment. In addition, wherever possible, we will eliminate environmental health and safety risks that can impact our employees, people working on behalf of the company, and the community we exist in, and have a system to address external interested party requirements. Managers, employees, and people working on behalf of the company will have an awareness of their responsibilities and key components of this policy, how they impact their positions, and will treat energy and materials as a precious resource that cannot be wasted.
The organization's commitment to continual improvement of our environmental measurements applies directly to the job responsibilities of each and every employee and manager, but our accountability for making significant yearly improvement in our environmental performance rests, clearly, on the shoulders of our top management team and results from its ability to provide environmental leadership.
