Toppan's technological edge is exemplified by our use of the remarkable Kensa KS-420 proof-checking device that provides a superior method for comparing points of difference between proofs and the original copy. This device can compare your original laser proofs to film, digital proof or plates and check for font errors, missing images or logos. This technology, invented by our corporate parent, uses a black and white CCD camera to overlay the master image with the memory image. Like most of the technology utilized by Toppan, this device improves the quality of your printed piece by helping reduce the number of mistakes before the piece goes to press. The patent is pending in the United States.
